Privacy Policy
Unvapd ("the app") is made by an independent developer based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates ("we", "us"), who also makes Unhackd. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have. In short: we don't sell your data, we don't show ads, and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
What stays on your phone
Everything you enter in the app is saved on your device: your name, what you use (vape, cigarettes or both), how much and what it costs, your reasons for quitting, personal goals, your signed commitment, your vape-free streak and relapse history, cravings and what set them off, focus sessions, reminder settings, game scores and settings. If you never sign in, this data never leaves your phone.
If you sign in (optional)
You can sign in with Google or Apple to back up your progress and use it on more than one device. When you do:
- Account details: we receive your email address (Apple may give us a private relay address instead), a user ID and which sign-in method you used. We never see your Google or Apple password.
- Backup: the app data listed above is copied to our backup database so it can be restored. Each account can only read its own data.
Reminders
Reminder and milestone notifications are scheduled on your phone. No notification data is sent to us.
Purchases
Subscriptions and the lifetime purchase are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play; we never see your card or payment details. We use RevenueCat to check whether you have Premium. RevenueCat receives an anonymous app user ID (or your account ID and email if you are signed in), the products you bought, and purchase dates.
Service providers
- Supabase stores sign-in and backup data.
- Google and Apple provide sign-in, and the App Store and Google Play process payments.
- RevenueCat manages subscription status.
These providers process data only to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security terms. Their servers may be located outside your country, including in the European Union and the United States.
What we don't do
- No advertising and no ad tracking.
- No analytics or crash-reporting tools in the app.
- No selling or renting of personal data.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone or other apps.
How long we keep data
Data on your phone stays until you erase it or delete the app. Backup data stays while your account exists. When you delete your account, your account and backup are deleted within 30 days. Purchase records may be kept by Apple, Google and RevenueCat as required for tax and accounting.
Your choices and rights
- Erase: Settings → Erase all data removes your data from the phone and, if signed in, from your backup.
- Delete your account: see how to delete your account.
- Access or correct: email us and we'll send you a copy of your data or fix it.
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR in the EU/UK or the UAE's data protection law), you may have further rights, such as objecting to processing or complaining to your local data protection authority.
Children
The app is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Security
Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Backups are protected so that each account can only access its own data.
This website
The Unvapd app has no analytics. This website (unvapd.app) uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are read: pages visited, approximate country, device type and how you arrived. We don't use it for ads. Visitors in the EU, UK and Switzerland are not tracked with analytics cookies. You can block it with any tracker blocker.
Changes
If this policy changes, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app if the change is significant.
